America's young people need our help. Too many children and teens are not receiving the guidance they need to graduate from high school, to avoid the effects of violence, gangs and drugs or to become responsible adults. The statistics on high school dropout rates, obesity and violence among youth are staggering.
Each of us can play a vital role in helping young people overcome these obstacles and achieve their dreams no matter what their circumstance. At Boys & Girls Clubs, we believe every child has the potential to BE GREAT.

Summer Programming Begins Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
We are open 7:30am-6pm.
Breakfast and Lunch will be served June 1 through July 1 thanks to the Alamosa School District!
We offer special Teens Only programming daily and lots of fun and excited field trips are planned, so give us a call or better yet, stop by and bring your kids!
Since 1992, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley have been assisting in the San Luis Valley by offering a variety of activities, and caring adults that provide a safe and positive environment, helping youth stay in school and succeed in life.
The organization provides safe, positive centers staffed with youth development professionals, who mentor and teach the youth they serve.
Kids spend time at the centers when they are not in school.
At the Clubs, Members are involved in
educational and fun youth-development programs that give each child a sense of competence, power to influence decisions, usefulness and belonging-all qualities which will help them make the most of their lives
and become the leaders of today and tomorrow.
You can help us make a difference in our community by supporting our youth. Volunteering, donating in a variety of ways, helping us with our wish list, or participating in our many events are all ways that you can assist in this endeavor.
